Meet the Team


Sam Tibbetts – Dental Assistant

Sam was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and moved to Washington in 2010.  Sam spent most of her childhood on the soccer field or in the car on family road trips up and down the Pacific Northwest.  She currently resides in Kelso with her daughter. They spend most of their free time at the park during the spring and summer time. (When it's not raining.)  Sam joined our team in May of 2016 and is very excited to continue with our team.  She looks forward to work each day.

Fun Fact:  She was born on the 8th day of the 8th month at 8:08am.  She has 8 letters in her first name and 8 letters in her last name.  Her soccer jersey was always #8.  She's the 8th grandchild and her daughter is the 8th great grandchild.

Dove Rantala – Dental Assistant

Dove was born and raised in Longview. She graduated from Mark Morris High School in 2008. She has been a dental assistant since 2011. Dove joined our team in December of 2017. When Dove is not in the office she enjoys riding her horses, running & hiking with her two dogs, and doing yoga.

Fun Fact: She has a goat named Marv.

Brittany Crouse – Dental Hygienist

Brittany grew up in Vancouver, Washington and currently lives in the Felida area with her husband Montana and their dog Moose. She graduated from Skyview High School in 2011 and Clark College Dental Hygiene program in 2015. Brittany enjoys traveling, camping, and hiking with her friends and family.

Fun Fact: She has played soccer since she was 5yrs. old.

Jessica Hulbert – Dental Hygienist

Jessica grew up in Kelso and currently lives in the Carrolls area with her husband and children. Jessica joined our team in 2003 as a receptionist and dental assistant before leaving to pursue her dental hygiene degree. She rejoined our team in 2013 as a dental hygienist after working in Vancouver for several years. Jessica enjoys camping, boating, and skiing with her family.

Fun Fact: Jessica loves to travel, but hates to fly!

Naomi Harriman – Dental Hygienist

Naomi was born and raised in Longview. She moved away for almost 10 years, but currently resides here with her boyfriend, their young daughter and dog. She loves adventuring outdoors, gardening, cooking and crafting. Naomi graduated from Clark College’s Dental Hygiene program. She has been with Troy Family Dental since 2017.

Fun Fact: Naomi is a vegetarian that comes from a large family of hunters and fishermen.

Bonnie Hall – Patient Coordinator

Bonnie is originally from South Dakota and is a farm-girl at heart. She has two children Mason and Alyson. Bonnie has a background in managing and has a passion for helping people and tries to practice kindness every day. She joined our team in 2003 and then left to go back to school in 2009 but has since rejoined our team in 2016.

Fun Fact: When she grows up she want to be a pilot.

Kassidy Gaston - Front Office

Kassidy is from Castle Rock and graduated in 2013. She now lives in Silverlake. Her family consists of her boyfriend and their 2 dogs “fur children” Asher and Nora. She started here at Troy Family Dental in 2017 as a receptionist and has also been crossed trained as a dental assistant. She enjoys doing home projects, hanging out with her dogs, friends and family.

Fun Fact: She has a fraternal twin sister and so does her mom.

Kent Large, DMD

Dr. Kent Large grew up in Hockinson, WA, and graduated from Prairie High School. After graduation from Washington State University with a degree in engineering, he worked throughout the state on many infrastructure projects. While he enjoyed engineering, he wanted to chase his goal of studying dentistry. So, with his very understanding wife, Missy, and their two sons, Jackson and Colby, they moved to southern California so he could attend Western University of Health Sciences. After graduating with his dental degree, they moved back to the Northwest to be closer to friends and family. On the weekends, you will likely see Dr. Large at various sporting events with his two sons or fly-fishing around Southwest Washington. He’s looking forward to continuing the tradition of providing excellent dental cares to the families of Cowlitz County.

Fun Fact: His favorite cookie is butterscotch/chocolate chip.
